Plasticized PVC is often employed in the manufacture of children's toys, such as building blocks, dolls and cars. It is particularly appreciated for its non-toxicity, suppleness, good mechanical properties and the ease with which it can be manipulated into many different shapes and colors.

PVC toys are manufactured by slush, rotational moulding (emulsion-type resins), or by injection (suspension-type resins).
